Accomodations
Belle de Jour Inn features five spacious units ranging in size from 288 to 700+ sq ft, each uniquely styled with quaint country decor. Our rooms will accommodate up to 2 adults (king or queen-sized beds, no rollaway beds, no cribs). We are unable to accommodate pets.
What are the Breakfast Options?
Option #1:
Start your leisurely morning off with a delightful breakfast at Belle de Jour Inn’s main house. Arrive between 8:30 am and 9:30 am for seasonal offerings (e.g., yogurt with fresh fruit and granola, a rotating egg dish, baked goods, fresh brewed coffee, hot teas and juices). Daily selections will vary. Vegetarian options are available. Each suite is equipped with Nespresso machines for fresh brewed coffee in the privacy of your room (tea bags are available upon request).
Please inform us in advance of any dietary restrictions. Though we aim to do our best, if we are not informed of dietary restrictions in advance, we may not be able to accommodate special requests.
Option #2:
Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the heart of downtown Healdsburg with a complimentary gift card to the popular Costeaux French Bakery restaurant (2 miles away at 417 Healdsburg Ave, Wed - Sun from 8:00 am – 1:30 pm). We recommend utilizing their online waitlist (not a reservation) called ‘No Wait’ through Yelp! to be notified of your seating by cell/text; you can roam the picturesque Square and enjoy the neighboring businesses if there is a wait. To join the waitlist, visit Yelp’s Costeaux French Bakery page and click the red ‘Join Waitlist Now’ button. Note, you must be signed into Yelp! to utilize this functionality.
Please inform us of your breakfast option a day in advance so we can be prepared.
What is the Smoking Policy?
Smoking is NOT permitted inside the units or on the grounds of Belle de Jour Inn.
What are your COVID-19 Policies?
Belle de Jour Inn follows the latest governmental guidelines and goes beyond to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff; our staff will inform you of the latest guidelines prior to your arrival. You may see our staff wearing masks – although we are fully vaccinated, we mask up out of an abundance of caution for everyone. We also ask that guests wear masks in the dining room (including during check in), except while actively eating and drinking. In order to keep our staff and guests as safe as possible during the pandemic, as of January 1, 2022, upon arrival all guests will be asked to show ID along with proof of COVID-19 vaccination or evidence of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 3 days of arrival. Any guests with reservations taking place after January 1, 2022 but made prior to that date who are not comfortable with this policy should reach out to us at info@belledejourinn.com.
Acceptable forms of proof of vaccination include:1) an original, copy or picture of your CDC vaccination card or 2) personal digital COVID-19 vaccine record issued by the State of California or another State or foreign governmental jurisdiction.
What are the On-Site Entertainment Options?
Each room is equipped with Direct TV for your enjoyment, as well as Bluetooth audio devices for accessing your favorite music station or playlist via your smart device (smartphone, tablet, or computer). Feel free to stroll the grounds; outdoor seating is available throughout the property for your relaxation and enjoyment. Belle de Jour Inn’s only common space, the communal dining room, may be enjoyed during meal time only. Free secure WIFI is available.
When is Check In / Check Out Time?
Check in is from 3:00 - 7:00 pm. Arrivals after 7:00 pm will be contactless. Check out is by 11:00 am. Late check out is subject to a charge.
Miscellaneous
A/C units are available in each unit for the warm months, and gas stoves or fireplaces provide heat (operational on a seasonal basis - turned off during warm weather). Our bountiful six-acre lot is a natural habitat to small animals that may wander at night, so please be mindful when strolling the grounds after dark. Each suite is equipped with a flashlight in case of emergency.
